A City Harvest church member Desmond Loo has asked for people to let his church move on so that they can start their "healing process". Although he claims to respect the judicial system, he wondered why the authorities are saying that the matter is not over yet despite having 7 years to think about it. He even tagged PM Lee in a FB post in describing the long ordeal the church members faced. "We the church had to endure questions on why we remain (in the church) for over 7 years. But in that 7 years, we continued to give. Not because we are brainwashed or less intelligent that the average Singaporean, but because this is our home, our church. Pas Kong Hee is our pastor, and he carries the responsibility of leading us, the church into spiritual maturity.." He also said that the church will continue to support the Crossover Project if there was a version 2. "For 7 years, this church family kept mostly silent and focused on what the church believed in. The Crossover was to be an extension of these beliefs, and we supported it fully. If there is a Crossover II launched tomorrow, this 15,000 who remains the church today, will support like we did in the early 2000s." Wah really so selfless or not? Make Sun Ho happy only. #MoreChinaWine

Eventually this ongoing scandal reveal way too much for me to stay in denial. Church fund was used for the Crossover. Not any ordinary fund but the BUILDING FUND! Which Pst. Kong time and again assured during services that Building Fund is only used to cover rentals, renovation and strictly anything to do with the physical church building. It comes to a point where I say 'enough is enough' and I left. Those who left may felt just like me initially. Lost, not sure what to do. Lose all friends you made in church over the past 10 years. 10 years, it was like a dream, and woke up to face reality.
