RENOVATION SCAM: LORRY BROKE DOWN, CANNOT START WORK, TAKE MONEY & RUN!

Be careful of renovation scams from Carpentry Design Works! The company received more than 20 complaints this month alone for unfinished works and delays even though its customers have already paid thousands of dollars. Some waited weeks for plumbing or wiring works but to no avail. The company will refuse to start work and give excuses like its lorry broke down or its workers were hospitalised. In fact, its office at Telok Kurau does not even have a signboard! Apparently, CASE tried to approach them but did not get a response. Carpentry Design Works was registered only about a year ago and has been using other people's identities as its directors. A few of them will be taking action against the firm for misusing their names and letting them take the blame for its monetary loans. Police are still investigating. No Signboard Renovation, anybody?
