Our reader defended those who got offended by Pink Dot's advertisement at Cathay Cineleisure. He/she said that people who are against Pink Dot are not old-fashioned or easily offended. Instead, it is the LGBTs who do not tolerate their views and portray them as such. The reader said homosexuality itself is even more old fashioned as it dates back to ancient Greek and Rome. He/she accepts LGBT colleagues and friends but is against those who try to make homosexuality a mainstream culture. What do you think?

The facebook group is a gathering of Christian hardliners in Singapore who demand for anyone or anything that does not condemn homosexuality to be punished. The leader of the group, Ms Carrie Yu, is a Christian fundamentalist who has campaigned against many things such as Adam Lambert's performance and the Penguin books which featured two male penguins raising a baby penguin. She goes by the name Carrie Shalom on facebook. During GE2015, she arranged for SMS and whatsapp messages to be sent as widely as possible to get the WP East Coast team defeated. She warned that Christians should not vote for Associate Professor Daniel Goh as he has been 'sympathetic' to the LGBT movement.

I saw this message on We Are Against Pinkdot facebook group and I thought of sharing it with you. This mad Christian lady thinks the WP is promoting homosexual agenda and threatens to vote against opposition because they don't agree with their "christian values". I think she and her group must be living in a cave!

S’pore’s Moral Minority is getting as ridiculous as their M’sia counterparts. Here it’s the X’ian Ultras (“Christ was ctucified: why not LGBTs?” is my understanding of what they want) and some Muslim allies doing the intolerance, not the Muslim Talibanites, UMNO opportunists and Malay Ultras. At least here, bigotry and intolerance cannot identified with any one religion or race or any combination thereof
