[COMPLAINT] OCBC’S DEFINITION OF FRESH FUNDS IS STUPID & ILLOGICAL

My fixed deposit matures today and OCBC has this 1.3% interest rate for fresh funds. When I wanted to withdraw my fixed deposit and put the funds into the new promotional 1.3% fixed deposit. OCBC said no and reject me, saying it must be fresh funds. I thought it was a ridiculous OCBC and told them , isn't it the same as me withdrawing the CASH, walk out of the bank and reappear with the CASH at the deposit counter as fresh fund? Isn't it the same?

LTA GIVE LAME EXCUSES TO PROTECT LTA OFFICERS WHO PARKED ILLEGALLY AT CHANGI AIRPORT

This is the lame excuse I got emailed from LTA about their patrol bikes officers not parking correctly?! Amazing! So next time if we get a summon for parking wrongly, can we write in and say we had exhausted all means to locate legitimate parking lots before deciding to park at the summoned spots. Due care and consideration were exercised to ensure no obstruction were caused to other road users?

Sim Lim Square mobile phone shop Mobile Air was served with a letter by the Consumers Association of Singapore (CASE) on Tuesday (Nov 4), which invited the store to sign a Voluntary Compliance Agreement (VCA). Mobile Air has been in the news for trying to force a Vietnamese tourist who bought an iPhone 6 to fork out an additional sum for a warranty package. MALE GAY COUPLE FROM AMERICA SHOCKED TO BE OPENLY DISCRIMINATED IN SINGAPORE

What's with this trashy behavior Singapore? Why are we being bullied and insulted for our sexuality? We are paying tourists in your country and this is how you treat your guests? For all your beautiful buildings and wonderful infrastructure, the people of Singapore are sorely lacking in common decency and woefully antagonistic towards us. Where is the love Singapore? How can you proclaim yourself a first world nation when such blatant discrimination against sexual minorities still exists?

PRC HAWKER DEMANDS NON-CHINESE SINGAPOREAN TO SPEAK TO HER IN MANDARIN

This PRC hawker lady replied to me rudely when I wanted to clarify an issue regarding the kueh tu tu I bought. Initially I wanted to let it pass, but decided not to keep silent and tried to speak to her in my broken mandarin as i was a non-chinese Singaporean. However, she insisted that I speak to her in Mandarin instead which really got my goat .

HDB not taking responsibility for building defects

Like the majority of Singaporeans, I am staying in a leased flat from HDB. It is a flat built more than 20 years ago by building contractors awarded by HDB. Unfortunately in the last few years there is a leak in the ceiling of my toilets causing the entire ceiling paint to peel. This also resulted in me repainting the ceiling every year and spending a considerable sum of money. As a result of this, I have asked HDB to evaluate the problem. HDB came down and evaluated and concluded that the leaking is due to the flooring damaged on the upper unit.

Complaint: LTA shows no mercy to first time offenders

I own an OPC car and works in Thailand. I use my OPC car one weekend a month. I am the 1st owner of the car for 8 years and paid my OPC license promptly. Unfortuately on 13 Feb 2014, I used my car and forgot to buy my OPC license. LTA diligently sent me a summon fine of $200. Despite me writing in to appeal my first time offence, LTA's repliy was straight and my appeal was rejected with no reason for the reject. Just because of a slip of mind, the Government will penalized us without mercy. There is no grounds for compassion, only rigid policy.

HOW MANY TIMES HAVE YOU BEEN UNKNOWINGLY OVERCHARGED BY BUSES?

We should be aware of is being overcharged on buses. I was shocked to see that a mere 10 min bus ride on a Basic SBS Bus Service 66 was charged $1.86. Investigation by Transitlink showed that the system recorded my boarding place at Science Centre when in fact I was at the eastern side of the island. I don't think everyone looks at the card readers every time they tap on and off to know if they've been overcharged. How much extra money are buses making from unsuspecting customers?
