PLS VOTE WISELY, VOTE FOR US WHO WILL PROTECT YOUR RICE BOWLS FROM FOREIGNERS

During one of our walk about, we spoke to a Poly student about how we need change in the country. If he is an American, Australian or Japanese he will be able to enter University that is at least of second tier ranking. But as a Singaporean he has to compete with foreigners who are graduates from second, third or fourth tier Universities with his diploma. Competition will very likely be more tough in the coming years as we roll in the plans to increase the population to 6.9m in a small Island.

MyRepublic to be Singapore’s fourth telco?

After more than a decade, Singapore could finally have its fourth full-fledged telecommunications company. The newest kid on the block, two-year-old local broadband services provider MyRepublic, says it has fibre connections set up islandwide, and is prepared to begin providing mobile services. Analysts say a fourth telco could enhance competition and give users more options. Already, MyRepublic is saying that it will offer unlimited data bundles - which are not available now.
