WHY SHOULD EMPLOYERS PAY MORE FOR PICKY S'POREANS WHO ARE LESS HARDWORKING?

Fresh graduates are pickier than before, and are willing to accept only jobs which pay more. Many do not take into account the quality of their resumes or their exam results. They do not think about working their way up. The question is: Why would employers pay more for Singaporeans who are less willing to work hard, as compared to foreigners who can be more capable and are willing to learn?

PAP FAIL TO PROTECT TAXI DRIVERS FROM UNFAIR GRABTAXI COMPETITION

My father has been a hardworking taxi driver for 13 years ever since he was retrenched from his job as a senior technician in the semiconductor industry. Being a more skills-based person, he's not very good at customer service or interacting with passengers. To make his job more challenging, my father's English is not very good as he studied mostly in Chinese medium schools.

WHY I BOYCOTT REGULAR TAXIS & CHOOSE TO SUPPORT UBER & GRABCAR INSTEAD

Before Uber and Grabcar, I had to stand under the scorching sun with a young child waiting more than 45 mins for a damn cab. It's either they do not want to go to the place you want, they change to hired immediately after spotting you or they act as if you are invisible driving right pass you. There is no way getting a cab during peak hours. And Uber drivers that I've encounter are way more polite than taxi drivers!

WILL SDP EMERGE AS A 3RD FORCE TO RIVAL WP OPPOSITION MONOPOLY?

Opposition supporters in GE2015 was too naive and hopeful for an opposition unity. In reality, the PAP wasn't the common enemy to every Opposition Party. The game was to maintain a canvass of white with a dash of blue was the final objective. GE2015, WP kept all other opposition parties at length from the start and that is the way they like it in Parliament. After all, WP MPs sits in most parliamentary select committees, unlikely they would want it diluted. Now, the question is, can SDP lead a third force in GE2020?

FOREIGNERS TO BREAK RICE BOWLS OF PROPERTY AGENTS TOO!?

A reader recently sent us this Facebook post by Mr Daniel Anil Das, who produced shocking evidence that foreigners are now allowed to be real restate or property agents in Singapore. He has produced a letter from the Council For Estate Agencies informing him that as long as foreigners fulfill its criteria, they will be allowed to register as estate agents!
