A 57 year old driver and his 59 year old employer were arrested in relation to the accident at Balestier Rd where a trailer rammed into an overhead bridge. The driver's licence has been suspended with immediate effect. Nobody was injured and investigations are ongoing. Both directions of Balestier Rd are also opened to traffic.

[16 Jan 2017] A SMRT MAN A22 (SMB1371H) rear ended a SBS Transit Volvo B9TL (SG5570B) this afternoon, along Ulu Pandan Road, before the junction of Clementi Road. SG5570B suffered engine damage and coolant was leaking over the road.
