Hambali's 54 year old father is still mourning his son's death, visiting his grave about twice a week. His half-sister, local singing celebrity Sarah Aqilah, also said that in the two to three months after his death, his school mates still continued to send phone text messages to his mobile phone, and also posted messages on Instagram in remembrance of him. TRUE FITNESS IN SINGAPORE STILL VIABLE AFTER THAILAND AND MALAYSIAN CLOSURES?

Will they or won't they? I am a member of the True Fitness chain, having just signed up in March this year. With news that True Fitness have closed all of their outlets in Thailand and Malaysia, but also announced an aggressive expansion plans in China. Now, I am worried that these expansion plans were only rolled out to assure Singaporean members like myself that True Fitness are ok. But look at them. The reality is, they abruptly closed in Thailand and Malaysia. Isn't this signs of a company in financial trouble?

ARROGANT OCBC BANK TREATS ITS SME CORPORATE CUSTOMERS LIKE TRASH

I received this letter last week from OCBC telling me they were going to close my corporate account in 2 weeks. Called them up to demand an explanation and all we get is a high-handed and arrogant reply that it was for 'business reasons we cannot disclose'. So now they anyhow can suka-suka close business accounts? It gives small business owners like us a lot of problems.

MRT STATIONS ALONG EAST-WEST LINE TO CLOSE EARLY FROM NOVEMBER

On Friday, SMRT announced that MRT stations between Bugis and Tanah Merah along the East-West Line will close 30 minutes early from 15 November 2015 till the end of the year. This is to give engineering staff more time to conduct sleeper replacement works. This early closure is expected to yield a 25% increase in sleeper replacement every night.

PARKING CHAOS TO BEFALL CHANGI AIRPORT SOON?

Changi Airport will be closing down its huge open air car park at T1 in the 4th quarter of this year to make way for Lee Hsien Loong’s vanity project, Lee’s Jewel. This will result in a shortfall of 400 parking spaces.
