The millionaire pastor of City Harvest Church, 50 year-old Kong Hee, has put his luxurious penthouse family suite in Sentosa Cove up for sale, and he is asking for a record smashing $10 million for the duplex unit. Kong Hee and his celebrity wife, Ho Yeow Sun, paid $9.33 million in 2007 for the unit. Kong and 5 other CHC personnel are involved in a high profile trial over the alleged misuse of $50 million of church funds, which has been slow in its execution. Court proceedings have dragged on for at least over 2 years, which has led some netizens to accuse Kong and his followers of purposely delaying proceedings to waste time and court resources.

SUN HO: CROSSOVER PROJECT REACHED OUT TO CELEBRITIES LIKE JAY CHOU

The "star" of the City Harvest Church (CHC) trial, Sun Ho aka Ho Yeow Sun, appeared in court today to speak as a defense witness at the request of former CHC investment manager Chew Eng Han. After years of legal wrangling, the former accounts manager from City Harvest Church, Chew Eng Han, has finally spilled the beans on the biggest local church scandal in recent years. On 20th March, Chew Eng Han admitted before the court about how church money was used to buyback Sun Ho's (He Yeow Sun) music albums. He led the courts through 2 music charts and showed how several hundreds of thousands of dollars in church money had helped drive Sun Ho's albums to the number 1 spots on the music charts in 2002 and 2006.

CITY HARVEST CHURCH SUES EX-CHURCH LEADER CHEW ENG HAN IN $21 MILLION LAWSUIT

He was one of the church leaders fingered in a criminal probe against the City Harvest Church (CHC) for criminal breach of trust. Now, Chew Eng Han is now facing a lawsuit from CHC for about $21 million that his investment firm, AMAC Capital Partners, allegedly owes the church. The New Paper obtained CHC's statement of claim, Chew's defence, and the church's reply to his written defence for this civil suit, which is fixed for a pre-trial conference on Dec 23.
