DON’T JAIL PASTOR KONG HEE, HE DID IT ONLY OUT OF LOVE FOR CHC

Despite how you try to paint Pastor Kong Hee and our leaders in a bad light, we the members of CHC know who they really are and how they are as human beings. They are the best, kindest and most benevolent human beings you can meet. They are lay persons who have limited understanding of corporate rules and regulations. They tried their best, to make good use of money we willingly gave to enrich and spread the word of God. beg the learned Judges to look at the fact, to see that there has been no real loss to the church. Pastor Kong Hee and our leaders did not pocket a single cent of the money, they did what they did out of love for us and the church.

Anything that does not go her way smoothly, she will make the ridiculous claim that the Devil is acting against her, like having a minor car accident etc. Sometimes when she presses the wrong number on her mobile, she would blame the Devil for it. She keeps worrying about things and scolds me for being anxious when she in fact, is anxious herself!

After all, it is now clear that donations have been misused for purposes different from the donors’ intentions. In the spirit of maintaining public trust and confidence in charities, I hope the Commissioner of Charities can look into this issue and provide an avenue for the former church members and donors to claim back their monies.
