GOVT GIVES OUT CITIZENSHIP TO PRCS LIKE TOILET PAPER

8 YEARS SINCE I AM A SG CITIZEN. BUT ALL I WANT TO DO IS TO GO HOME.

It's been 11 years since I have lived in Singapore and be part of the daily grind. I have a group of close SG friends. Work isn't too bad, it puts food on the table.

Now that my grandma has passed, I really feel like sending my parents over over so that I can fulfill my duties as a daughter and take care of them. However, my father has to work for a few more years in China before I can send him over here. I have thought of sending my mother over first. However, my father is incapable of taking care of himself. If I send for my mother, we would be worried about him living alone.

Life is so unpredictable. Who knows what will happen tomorrow?

It may seem a little silly, but I am considering to return to China for a couple of years so I can take care of them. Maybe, I can start a family too.

However, my job industry is too niche and I do not know if I will be employable back home.

I just want to be able to care for my parents before it is to late.
