WOMAN LASH OUT AT DRIVER WHO HONK AT HER KIDS WHEN THEY PLAY IN BUSY CARPARK

I'd like to share an incident with you regarding irresponsible parents and the refusal to take the blame for their negligence. I'd like you to use this story to inform parents to be watchful over their children, considering how prevalent road accident statistics have been in recent times. Additionally, it would be an important lesson in humility, especially when one is at fault, to accept wrongdoing and not insist on pushing the blame to others.

IN S’PORE, IT IS BETTER TO GIVE BIRTH TO DAUGHTERS THAN SONS

As with the older generation , it is much of a fortune if the women in the family give birth to a baby son than a daughter. Son are generally much more preferred than daughter because of the much believed traditional value of carrying on the generation, i wonder does that context still hold in sg anymore?

POLICE REPORTS WERE LODGED AGAINST HUSBAND OF FOODCOURT SCREAMER FOR CHEATING PARENTS’ MONEY!

More than 10 years ago, police reports were lodged against the husband of this now infamous woman. He was then known as Steven Chong. Back then, I was a young naïve parent looking for a swim coach for my kids. I responded to an advertisement in the ST Classified Ads. I spoke with the wife regarding the terms and conditions for the swimming lessons. We found the fees reasonable and so went ahead to engaged him as the coach. As our circle of friends, colleagues and relatives also have children of similar age group, we recommended this coach to them after trying out a couple of lessons with them. I also came to know of other parents whose kids were under his coaching. Each time we asked to see his coaching licence, we were given some excuses until she finally showed me an expired one and said they had already renewed but yet to receive from Singapore Sports Council.

PARENTS, KIASU-ISM, STRESSED KIDS – AN OPEN LETTER TO KUIK-SHIAO YIN

I’ve seen many teens and young adults in the last 10 to 15 years being trapped in the same cycle as their parents. I’ve checked the school bags of young children I work with and found scores of about 8/100. I’ve seen these kids barely trying to survive our system. Their prognosis, in my humble assessment, is poor. I’m not sure if my children will wind up feeling demoralised because they may fall behind when they realise that they may not get the scores that others are getting, but I pray that they keep their eyes fixed on more important things in life, even in this climate.

KIND TAXI DRIVER SENT MOTHER & INJURED TODDLER TO HOSPITAL FOR FREE

However, in her frenzied rush to get her son to the hospital, the young Miss Liu had brought everything but her wallet along with her. KIND HEARTED GRABCAR DRIVER RUSHED MY SICK CHILD TO KKH & REFUSED MY FARE

Today we had to rush our boy to KK due to high fever, and came this kind soul from Grab whom patiently brought us to our destination safely. We were so touched by his care and concern about our son throughout the journey. Were really grateful for his high sense of morality. Reached KK and he quickly opened the door for my son and wife, and what really surprised us that he don't want to accept the fare. We then insist so much as he is making a living and we can afford it, but he just declined even more. He left with saying "Treat this as an angbao for your baby, and may he get well soon with great health."
