CHIAM SEE TONG STILL WANTS TO HELP SGREANS EVEN AT 82. TRUE SINGAPORE HERO!

The Chiam See Tong Foundation is currently made up of contributions from the Chiam family as well as contributions from the other members of the Foundation. Mr Chiam is now 82 years old, and he has never stopped trying his best to help Singaporeans.

Even in his twilight years, where he can retire quietly, he still wants to help. This is a true Singapore hero. He fought hard in politics, not because he was greedy for a huge pay day, or wants the limelight, but because he truly cares. And now, here he is, doing his best to ensure Singaporeans benefit.

POLITICAL DUD LINA CHIAM SHOULD STAY OUT OF SDP'S BUSINESS

Lina Chiam is not and will never be like her husband. Despite Potong Pasir being an opposition stronghold for years and years, the moment Chiam left for bigger GRC ambitions, it fell like a deck a cards. The beef between Chiam See Tong and Dr Chee happened really long ago and honestly, it is a personal issue between the two and the issue has no real connection with Lina Chiam. She is probably now just using Chiam’s dotage and frail condition to pick an imaginary fight at a crucial time for the SDP. In short, Lina Chiam should just stay out of the picture right now. She can scream and claw when the crucial period is over. If she has nothing good to say, simply don’t say anything.

CHIAM SEE TONG SHOULD NOT BE PETTY OVER SDP'S USE OF PHOTO

Singapore People's Party (SPP) chairwoman Mrs Lina Chiam recently posted on Facebook about her husband's photo being misused by the Singapore Democratic Party's (SDP) Chee Soon Juan. According to Mrs Chiam, the photo had been published in the SDP newsletter and had falsely conveyed the sense that SDP's Chee Soon Juan had received the endorsement of political veteran Chiam See Tong.

IS THIS THE END OF CHIAM'S POTONG PASIR SMC?

An official town council letter circulating on the internet suggests that Potong Pasir soon disappear as an SMC in the next General Elections. In the letter, the General Manager for Potong Pasir SMC tells residents to pay their S&CC to Jalan Besar Town council with effect from 1st December. This is because Jalan Besar will be taking over the town management duties of Potong Pasir Town Council. This strongly suggests the end of Potong Pasir Town Council and maybe Potong Pasir SMC?

HAS THE CONSCIENCE OF POTONG PASIR RESIDENTS GONE TO THE PAP DOGS?

I grew up in 120 Potong Pasir and was very proud of my town's heritage being only 1 of 2 wards constantly held by the opposition. Though we do not have much amenities but we have something no one could ever take from us, our pride and dignity or as I so thought! I wonder how on earth can Potong Pasireans do this to the Chiams who have faithfully served us for 32 years with Mrs Lina Chiam being the 2nd most pressing MP in parliament for the last 5 years though she does not have to do so. Where have your conscience gone?
