28 years ago, CHC began with God's call to one man, who led a group of 20 youth who didn't know much or have much, but whose hearts were so full. 28 years later, we're still growing as a church, and we are purer and stronger than ever before. Thank you pioneers of City Harvest Church, and especially Pastor Kong Hee and Sun Ho, for courageously heeding the call of God upon your lives. We will continue to build what God has started, and is still doing through you. Let's keep praying for the five and their families. Let's keep loving God wholeheartedly, loving people fervently, and continue to live by the "Divine Priority" of seeking God's kingdom first!

City Harvest Church member believes that the devil is making a mistake by putting Kong Hee to the test. She thinks he will only emerge a better person through this ordeal and is already looking forward to the great plans that God will exercise through him. "Pastor kong I believe the day when u are out, u will be even a better pastor and God's glory will be even more glorious upon u..more revelation and deeper understanding of God you will find. I believe the devil will realised by then that it is making a big mistake by putting u to this coz u become stronger,wiser n deeper with God Yes,it is not over yet coz deeper works of God n greater things will be seen in this lifetime from our God through you!" Not even one day in jail and already waiting for him to come out? Dedicated siol!

City Harvest Church has released a statement telling members to ceaselessly pray for the safety and protection of their leaders. The church's executive pastors, Aries Zulkarnain and Bobby Chaw, also reminded them to continue serving God while remaining faithful in the things they are called to do. "Today, Pastor Kong, Pastor Tan, Sharon, Serina and John will start serving their sentences (Friday, April 21, 2017). We will not see them for a season, but we must continue to uphold them in prayer. We pray for their safety and protection, and we pray that the presence of God is with them at all times. Let’s also pray ceaselessly for their families, that through this period, God’s peace will fill them and His protection and grace will be upon them. Church, in this time, let’s not forget Romans 12:12, which tells us to rejoice in hope, [be] patient in tribulation, continuing steadfastly in prayer. Let us continue to love God wholeheartedly and love people fervently. Being faithful in the things we are called to do: come to service, attend cell group, serve in the House of God, reach out to the lost, pray and fellowship together. See you in church this weekend."

City Harvest church members continue to express support and respect for their almighty abba Kong Hee even though he was found guilty of misappropriating church funds. They claim him to be a miracle pastor who give them strength to overcome difficult times in their lives and did not regret being part of CHC. Some still believe the Crossover project saved hundreds and thousands of people. Someone even hope for the church leaders to have a chance to appeal again so they can get a "clean sheet". What do you think? Are they loyal or brainwashed?

Help, I am very concerned about the CHC trial and its implications on society. I was picking up my son from his Secondary school when he said his ambition is to become a pastor like Kong Hee! I tried to talk him out of it but he already looks up to Kong Hee as a role model in life! What do I do now?! Hey kiddo, money don't come easy hor. Don't play play.

Pastor Kong Hee definitely deserves a lighter sentence! Thank God for listening to our prayers and recognising he's a good man... I want to clarify that everything our pastor done was for the good of the church and he did not have malicious intents. He never even receive a single cent of salary from the church! I just want people to understand that our CHC leaders didn't mean any harm and are deep down very good natured children of God. I'm sure God knows that they're good people and got touched by our fervent prayers. Pastor Kong was right! God is good all the time... all the time, God is good!
