There have been speculations going around on WhatsApp and Telegram apps that these 23 MPs will be stepping down from politics and will not be contesting in GE2020

PM Lee though, never mentioned anything about Charles Chong proclaiming that millions of dollars in WP accounts for the Punggol SMC went missing, and that was not substantiated with hard facts. Since taking over Punggol East SMC, PAP MP Charles Chong had been trying to stir up anger among residents towards the Workers' Party by making false accusations of financial misconduct and mismanagement against AHTC. In April, Charles Chong falsely claimed that AHTC had been slow in handing over funds for Punggol East. Just yesterday, the AHTC delivered it best response to PPRTC and Charles Chong with the announcement that it has handed over Punggol East SMC to PRPTC in better financial health as compared to the time it took over the constituency in the aftermath of the Punggol East by-election of 2013.

Since the beginning of Singapore, PAP leaders have been instilling unnecessary fear in Singaporeans towards the opposition. LKY claims that Singapore women will work as maids overseas when the opposition takes over while GCT has gone as far as to label the opposition as opportunistic “nomads” It has been slightly more than a year since the 2015GE and I would like to challenge this notion as pure bullshit.

Here are some strange reasons why Singaporeans may have voted for the PAP challenger Charles Chong in Punggol East during GE2015. A majority of sinkies do not seem concerned about national issues during elections. So why should they be complaining about national issues after elections?
