Local popular Channel 8 artist, Aloysius Pang was charged in court yesterday for drink driving. The actor, who is 26 years old, was driving along Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim at about 5am on May 8 when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a barrier. He allegedly had 55 microgrammes (mcg) of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The prescribed limit is 35 mcg. No other vehicles or persons were involved in the accident. Pang indicated that he will not engage a lawyer and that he will plead guilty. He stated that he should not have drunk driven, and as a role model, he will bear the consequences for his actions.

Reports say that at 6PM on 20 April, Rui En appeared at her neighbor's door asking for a power bank because her phone was dead. The elderly couple at the door told her they did not have a power bank and they invited her in to use their landline.
