In his post dated 23 August, Jufrie Mahmood said that a government which is against the the implementation of a minimum wage policy is a government that does not really care about the welfare of the down trodden in society. Jufrie went on to say that the Ministers only think and care about themselves, as they keep harping on the millions in salary they are entitled to. Who entitled them to the millions but themselves?

To clarify, 6 employees out of 9 are Muslim and 3 wearing the hijab. Our food is cooked by a Muslim wearing a hijab, our food is halal. We have Muslims, Indians and Chinese working here with different religions as well. The person who came for the interview and complained on this matter left a job after 1 month and another with a child care centre after 3 months and reason being ,she cant take the children’s noise.

Just want to say thank you to her, sorry didn't take note of her name. We were flying SQ2 HK to SF, on 10 Nov. Her service is exceptional and beyond her duty, she took care of my 3 children, and even help them with the food.

Just reached home half an hour ago at 12.30am. Am beginning to take in all that had happened for the past 3.5 hours on the road. All in all, So so so glad to see Singaporeans stepping up to care for one another, through their actions. Believe we are so much more than this breakdown.
