Chee Soon Juan Maintains Bukit Batok Walkabouts Even After GE2020

Even though two months have passed since GE2020, the Singapore Democratic Party (SDP) Chief Dr Chee Soon Juan has continued to walk the ground. He has been meeting Bukit Batok residents and listening to their concerns around the constituency. It is embarrassing how Chee Soon Juan is more in touch with the issues around Bukit Batok than some part-time MP who claimed he will "always prioritise" his residents.

GE2020: Opposition Candidates’ Pictures Missing in ST Nomination Day Live Coverage

The 158th media has made no effort to hide their bias against the opposition by leaving out faces of opposition candidates in their Nomination Day Live Coverage. 158 did not bother to find photos of opposition candidates and just showed them as blanks while all the PAP candidates' faces were shown. What is their excuse for not being able to get a photo of the prominent Paul Tambyah who is going to be president of the International Society of Infectious Diseases?

President Tony Tan has issued the writ of election for the Bukit Batok by-election to be held on 7 May 2016. Nomination day will be on 27 April 2016 at Keming Primary School. SDP's Dr Chee Soon Juan has declared his intentions to contest in Bukit Batok SMC and has been working the ground for weeks. TIME FOR DR CHEE SOON JUAN TO CONTEST BUKIT BATOK BY-ELECTION & GIVE PAP A GOOD FIGHT?

I do not care why David Ong resigned, I do not want to know why he resign. For all we know, he has come down with serious illness and all he wants now is peace and quiet to recuperate. Speculation of such is pointless, it is smarter to think forward. This time is ripe and the opportunity has come. I think it is time for Dr Chee Soon Juan to return to Parliament. Dr Chee's fiery performances during GE2015 has given the 30 percent of Singaporeans hope that one day we will have a multi-party Government. This is the time for Dr Chee to prove his mantle and put his words into actions.
