FAMILY LOOKING FOR WITNESS AFTER PET DOG GETS HIT & RUN BY BLACK SUV

My family and I and are looking for eye witnesses for a hit and run accident that occured along Bishan St 13, infront of Blk 154 on the 17th of April 2017 at around 2215hr. The leash of my dog, Kyle, gave way and he ran straight to the road. Unfortunately, a black SUV went over both the hind legs of my dog. The driver stared at me for a good 5-7 seconds with a really pissed off face before even reversing as he was stationery over my dog. We have already made a police report and they have responded to us just today asking for eye witnesses so that can gather up more evidence.

CLUB JULY DELIVERS ALCOHOL THRU UBEREATS AFTER 10.30PM, BOLEH?

Our reader found a restaurant called Club July at Bishan that still delivers alcohol through UberEats after 10.30pm. "so UberEats restaurant can deliver alcohol to my house downstairs even after the allowed hours?"

According to UberEats' regulation, retail outlets and delivery services are not allowed to sell takeaway alcohol in Singapore from 10.30pm to 7am. Singapore's liquor law also states that drinking is banned in public areas after 10.30pm.

What do you think? Can or not?

JUNCTION 8 WAS IN THE DARK FOR 7 HOURS DUE TO POWERT TRIP ON SUNDAY

7 hours before power was restored to a shopping centre in one of the priciest districts of Singapore. And to make things worse, it was a Sunday, which means the shops losing more crowd and potential business because of this trip.

What happened? No word forthcoming from the management of Junction 8, bar an apology to tenants and shoppers. How can a power trip lasts for up to 7 hours, without a solution found in the interim? Singapore's malls certainly not like it used to be.

SPOOKY BISHAN MRT ESCALATORS: SPATE OF ACCIDENTS & FALLS REMAIN UNEXPLAINED

According to some old-time Bishaners who grew up in the 2 small villages, "the entire Bishan was a cemetery & it was a huge one", "there were some areas in Bishan that I'll avoid at night". Many older MRT staff have also experienced unusual technical difficulties upon reaching the station. Perhaps Bishan station is spooked, and is one area we should avoid, since SMRT asserts that "there was no malfunction in escalator operations".

BISHAN RESIDENT LEAVES MOSQUITO REPELLENT IN LIFT FOR ALL TO USE: KAMPUNG SPIRIT IS ALIVE!

Omg I super love this! Saw this at one of the HDB blocks in Bishan. It seems that a thoughtful resident placed a full bottle of mosquito repellent in every lift for his/her neighbours to use given that repellents are being sold out everywhere.
Can we have more of such community spirit please? :') Majulah Singapura!
