PRI SCHOOLS TELL KIDS TO KEEP BDAY PARTIES SIMPLE, SING SONG CAN ALREADY

Some primary schools have come up with rules on celebrating birthdays. They told parents to stick to simple birthday parties for their children, such as just singing a birthday song instead of celebrating with cakes or gifts. They said it promotes healthier lifestyles by letting children avoid junk food, allergy problems and prevent them from comparing their wealth with other classmates based on those presents.

What do you think? Birthday parties also need rules meh? Chill lah, once a year only.

JINXED BIRTHDAY FOR LEE HSIEN LOONG AS MULTIPLE TRAIN DISRUPTIONS OCCUR

Lee Hsien Loong's birthday is turning out to be a jinx for many S'poreans as they experienced three train disruptions in one day. Just an hour ago, the Sengkang LRT East Loop was put out of service after being hit by a power disruption. Residents near Bakau station reported hearing a "very loud thunder-like sound" and saw smoke billowing out of the station. SBS Transit has confirmed that the loud sound was caused by a power fault. This latest disruption follows two breakdowns on the NS line and the Bukit Panjang LRT earlier in the day and sets a new record for our PTOs. We are waiting for the day when all lines break down simultaneously - like when Ho Ching celebrates her birthday?

WOMAN SHOUTS AT BIRTHDAY BOY IN SWENSENS FOR NO REASON, SCREAMS VULGARITIES WHEN CONFRONTED

I hate to do this...BUT...This "woman" is really too much!!! Today is my youngest son's birthday and we celebrate at Swensens T2. Being a small kid, Ayden talks and sings and plays around. Then, this "woman" who sat behind us, shouted "SHUT UP" AT Ayden!!! We kept our cool, I turned back and told her " you shouldn't say that to my kid! If you cannot see/hear kids being noisy, then you leave!"
