A bangla engineer from Dhaka, Bangladesh, who is now living and working in Singapore, told a sinkie to stop complaining about foreigners. Six radicalised Bangladeshi workers in Singapore who were detained under the Internal Security Act have been prosecuted under the Terrorism Act (Supression of Financing). They were charged in Court on Friday (27 May 2016) for providing and collecting property for terrorist purposes.

A foreign Bangladeshi worker was jailed for 5 months for criminal intimidation after he sent sex videos of him and a married Singaporean female to her husband and daughter. The 38 year old woman had a casual sexual relationship with the foreign worker from 2007 to 2013. The tryst broke off after the worker returned to Bangladesh. However when he returned in 2015, he tried to resume their sexual relationship but was refused. Feeling jilted, he threatened to release their sex videos of her family members.

Just returned from house visits in Eunos (with an interesting exchange with a new citizen), but this story has been on the back of my mind the whole evening. I have no sympathies for this lot or any other lot that professes violence. The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announced today that 27 Bangladeshi construction workers were arrested under the Internal Security Act (ISA) after they were found out to be planning armed jihad overseas and in their homeland. This is the first reported instance of foreigners being arrested for wanting to prepare attacks overseas. The men were arrested between 16 Nov 2015 and 1 Dec 2015 last year.

The Singapore Police Force (SPF) have arrested a 41 year-old foreign man for slashing 38 year-old Pinoy domestic worker Ms Allen Remedios, believed to be his ex-girlfriend, in the neck and hands on Sunday. Ms Remedios was attacked near her address at Block 311, Tampines Street 33 at about 6.30PM that day. Her attacker had fled immediately after the crime. Ms Remedios was conveyed conscious to hospital despite suffering from deep gashes on her hands and a nearly severed windpipe.

At some SG50 goodie bag giveaway station, there were two bangladeshi nationals (by the way they were dressed, I assume they're workers on their day-off) standing by the sides watching as people joined the queue to collect their goodie bags.. after collecting mine, I walked past them telling them they too could join the line to collect the goodie bag.
