An unemployed man, Budiman Tarmidi, 25, was charged in court on Tuesday for outraging the modesty of a 15 year-old girl he had seen at a mini-mart, and for assaulting his ex-girlfriend on her way home 9 days after the molestation.

A 43 year old man who was unhappy that his girlfriend was earning $80 for 12 hours of work a day went to the stall that she was working at to hurl vulgarities and assault the stall assistants. The series of harassment began on 13 Jan. The stall in question was a roast meat eatery in Chinatown.

The National Transport Workers' Union learnt of another assault on a bus captain which happened late last night. The assailant, suspected to be drunk during the attack, has been arrested. The older brother of a 48-year-old man arrested for assaulting three madrasah students last Friday morning has apologised to the Malay-Muslim community. Koh Weng Onn was arrested in connection with the assault on the students. His brother, Muhammad Johan Koh, a Muslim convert said that his brother had been suffering from mental issues since young. He was admitted to the Institute of Mental Health in the 1990s but refused treatment. The older Koh added, "We were always afraid that something like this would happen one day.” "After all that has happened, this is our way of apologising to the Malay-Muslim community."

22 year old Shawn Ho Wee Kiat was jailed for 6 weeks after he punched a 68 year old man Mr Tham Wye Mun, multiple times for allegedly molesting his girlfriend. On 2 August 2015, Ho's girlfriend Ms Choo Wan Sheng was queuing to buy food at a coffee shop when she felt the elderly man bump twice into her. When she returned home, she told her boyfriend and his mother, both of whom went to the coffeeshop to confront the alleged molester.

An enraged Briton Alan Benjamin Maybury, 34, went ballistic on a 19 year-old local teenager, Lum Kwok Weng, 19, after the latter's car crashed into a taxi that he and his wife were travelling in at about 1.30AM on 30th November 2014 along South Buona Vista Road.
