2 CANADIAN WOMEN DETAINED FOR STRIPPING ON MT KINABALU

2 female Canadian tourists, 23 year-old Lindsey Peterson and 22 year-old Danielle Peterson, were arrested and prevented from leaving Malaysia after they were identified as being part of a group of tourists who stripped themselves nude and took pictures of themselves as a sacred site on Mount Kinabalu, Sabah. Malaysian police reported that on 30th May, the two women were part of a group of 10 tourists who stripped off their clothes and posed naked at the 8KM point of a 2 day hiking trip up the mountain, which locals say is a sacred site protected by their local deity. The tourists ignored the pleas of their local guide to stop, and openly insulted the guide for trying to stop them.

AMOS YEE’S BAIL TERMS TIGHTENED AFTER HE REPOSTED ANTI-LKY VIDEO

YouTuber Amos Yee, who was charged on Mar 31 after posting a video which contained disparaging remarks against Christians, faces new conditions for bail after his pre-trial conference on Friday (Apr 17). PRC CHEAT YANG YIN ARRESTED FOR CRIMINAL BREACH OF TRUST

Former China tour guide Yang Yin has been arrested for suspected criminal breach of trust. A police spokesman told The Straits Times on Wednesday night that Mr Yang's arrest followed "police reports lodged against him". The arrest came after the police and Immigration Checkpoints Authority (ICA) hauled the former tour guide for an interview on Tuesday. The Straits Times understands that Mr Yang, 40, was still being questioned by the police at the Police Cantonment Complex on Wednesday night.

SINGAPORE POLICE PRESS RELEASE – MAN ARRESTED FOR BOMB HOAX CALL

Police have arrested a 41-year-old man for making a bomb threat call to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Operations Room located at Woodlands Checkpoint. On 27 January 2014 at about 5.54am, ICA received a call via its Woodlands Checkpoint Operations Room from a male voice claiming that he is a Singaporean who stays in Malaysia and has to travel frequently into Singapore. The caller expressed his frustration over the traffic congestion at the Causeway over the past few days and he threatened to send a bomb to Woodlands Checkpoint before ending the telephone call.
