PEEPING TOM ARRESTED, PEEPED AT WOMEN IN FEMALE TOILETS

In what is a growing trend in Singapore nowadays, yet another man has been arrested by the police, this time for peeping at women in public toilets. The 26 year old man, who was not named in the report, was arrested by the Police for allegedly peeping at victims in female toilets on several occasions between January and May at a building along Sembawang Drive. Reports did not indicate the man used a phone to take videos or photos of the women, but CCTV footage obtained by the police confirmed the man had entered the female toilets. The man will be charged with an offence of criminal trespass and insulting the modesty of a woman.

POLICE ARRESTS MAN FOR LEAVING BAG UNATTENDED AT MRT STATION

Yet another case of a stupid man leaving his bag unattended in a public place. This time, it happened on Wednesday at Admiralty MRT Station, where the 34 year old man left his luggage bag unattended, while he went to make a purchase at a convenience store. According to police reports, they were alerted to the case at 8:45am, where they found the unattended luggage bag at the MRT bicycle bay. The luggage bag contained personal items like clothing, medication and toiletries. The police officers at the scene traced the owner of the luggage bag and arrested him at the station. Police are still investigating the case.

71 YEAR OLD WOMAN ARRESTED FOR KILLER LITTER

Police have arrested a 71 year old woman for a killer litter case in Jalan Bukit Merah. Residents in the area reported that the woman have been throwing killer litter for almost two weeks already. Based on the resident's report, the woman have been throwing items from her 10th storey unit every day early in the morning. It is fortunate that the killer litter did not hit anyone. Among the items reportedly thrown by the woman were small electrical appliances like plugs, cut-up clothes, boxes, and one packet of glass. neighbours who have been staying at the block for very long said the woman had three sons, but she was not living with any of them. The woman also only recently started behaving this way, and they claimed it was maybe because of some domestic issues.

FOURTH PORRIDGE EATERY WRECKER ARRESTED

The fourth Person involved in wrecking the porridge eatery at Upper Serangoon Road has been arrested, according to police reports. The 48 year old man, who has not been named, was arrested on Thursday. Three others had earlier been arrested. Pang Pei Pei, 40 and Tan Sun Meng, 46 were charged in court on Wednesday, while Ang Sin Poh is still being investigated. With the arrest of the fourth man, the drunkards who rampaged against the eatery are now all in police custody. So what was a night of supper, turned into a night of drunken rage over a $28 bill, and now for the the four, will probably turn into a night they will regret for the rest of their lives.

CHEAT TRIES TO SCAM ON CAROUSELL, GETS ARRESTED BY POLICE

A 28 year old man who allegedly tried to sell NTUC shopping vouchers on Carousell, have been arrested by the police for the scam. The man had allegedly tried to make a quick profit by selling the vouchers but did not give his buyer the agreed amount after receiving the payment. The police had received a report from a victim on May 16, who purchased S$500 worth of NTUC Fairprice vouchers from the man at a discounted price of S$470. After payment was made by the victim, she discovered that the envelope contained only S$250 worth of NTUC vouchers. The suspect then became uncontactable.

ROCK THROWING ROAD RAGE DRIVER ARRESTED BY POLICE

The man who was seen on video stopping his car in the middle of the road and hurling road at other road users, have been arrested by the police. The 42 year old man was arrested for his suspected involvement in a road rage incident along Clementi Road last Saturday. Police said the man was arrested on Wednesday after follow up investigations by their officers from the Jurong Police Division. Investigations against the man are ongoing.

DRUNKS WHO TRASHED HENG LEONG TEOCHEW PORRIDGE STALL ARRESTED

The police have arrested two men and one woman for wrecking the Heng Long Teochew Porridge, which is located along Upper Serangoon Road, on Tuesday. All three, who have not been named, are believed to be Singapore citizens, and were drunk. A fourth person, believed to be another man, is still at large. They were caught on CCTV cameras wrecking the stall in the wee hours of Saturday. They had got into a tussle with staff over their $28 bill for a meal, which they said were too much. A detailed breakdown of the meal was given by the stall - $7 for discounted promfret, $7 for discounted duck, $1 for pickles, $4 for shrimp, $5 for minced meat, $2 for preserved vegetable, and $2 for four bowls of noodles.

POLICE ARRESTED 2 MEN FOR LEAVING BAGS IN ALJUNIED MRT STATION

Police have arrested two men for leaving their bags unattended at Aljunied MRT Station on Friday. The men, aged 25 and 27, were arrested for an offence of Public Nuisance under the Penal Code after they left three bags unattended at Aljunied MRT station. The Police were alerted to the incident on Friday morning, and they quickly ascertained that the bags contained only food and household items. Police also immediately managed to apprehend the two men at Aljunied MRT Station after they had been traced and investigations revealed that they had intentionally left their bags at the concourse area while they went to the toilet. Police investigations are still ongoing.

50 YEAR OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR STEALING MOTORBIKE

A 50 year old man has been arrested for stealing a motorcycle from a carpark in Jalan Besar, according to the police. The police had first received reports of a motorbike being stolen from a carpark along Rowell Road. Subsequent investigations led the police to the stolen motorbike on Sunday, May 14, and the subsequent arrest of a man in connection with the theft on Wednesday, 17 May. This is now the second case of motorbike theft in a week. On Tuesday, two teens were arrested for stealing a motorbike at Yishun Slum carpark.

MAN JAILED FOR MOLESTING WOMAN AS HE HAD URGE TO TOUCH WOMAN’S BUTTOCKS

A 38 year old man was was jailed for two years and three months, and ordered to receive four strokes of the cane for molesting a woman last year. The guy, Benjamin Tan Jook Min, was walking around Havelock Road on August 2 at 2:30am, when he spotted his victim across the road at a traffic junction. The Court was told that he decided to follow the victim because he had the urge to touch her buttocks. He crossed the road and followed the victim as she walked, and at one point, hid behind an advertising board at a bus stop when the victim was looking for her mobile phone from her bag. That gave Tan a chance to slip on his work gloves he kept in his backpack, and he rushed forward and covered the victims mouth with his left hand. A struggle ensued, and he molested the woman after pulling her to the ground.
