HUNDREDS OF LOTTERY SLIPS STREWN ACROSS ANG MO KIO, HUAT HAPPENED?

Our readers noticed a 100-metre-long stretch of lottery slips at Ang Mo Kio Street 61 yesterday. There were so many betting slips, some even accumulated in a pile at the road near Blk 640. Onlookers and cars slowed down as they were curious and confused at the sight. The slips were reportedly used and unwanted and got strewn all over the roads while being transported in a lorry. AMK RESIDENT COMPLAINTS ABT SIGMA HDB LIFT WHICH NEARLY SEVERED HIS ARM

When the lift door opened, my older son ran in and I followed in but with my younger son was still outside. The lift closed suddenly on my right hand before I can react. Both the motion sensor of the lift door and the "fail safe" mechanism failed to work and my hand was stuck for a few seconds. I couldn't retrieve my hands because I was carrying a bag so I was basically stuck. I also couldn't reach for the lift button because it was at my back. Luckily the lift did not move at all. I quickly asked my older son to press the open door button to open the lift door again. If he hadn't done so, my hand would have been severed. Yes, this is again a Sigma lift.

BEES ATTACK WOMAN IN AMK PARK, WHY ARE BEES THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?

SCDF confirmed the woman was taken to the hospital conscious. Wonder what triggered the attack on the woman by the swarm of bees. Were they provoked? The main thing was, why was there a swarm of bees in the area in the first place? This is a well used park, with many people going through it for exercise, or to get to the McDonald's restaurant located nearby. AVA, NParks, and all the other authorities responsible for keeping our parks safe, time to move on from giving excuses about culling of chickens and checking of trees done to world standards.

FOUND! S’PORE LONELIEST STAIRCASE IN ANG MO KIO

Twitter user "ilysbhood" took a photo of this scene and captioned it "IM WHEEZING I JUST SAW THE STAIRCASE TO HEAVEN". This staircase is near Mayflower Secondary School. According to the Twitter user, a new bridge has been constructed closer to the bus stop. The staircase in the photo is part of an old bridge which used to be there.

MASSIVE JAM AFTER TRAFFIC LIGHTS SPOIL DURING SUNDAY HEAVY RAIN IN ANG MO KIO

Yesterday (20 November 2016) during a thunderstorm, the traffic lights at the junction between Yio Chu Kang and Ang Mo Kio Ave 5 experienced a technical issue and caused a a massive grid lock. Cars and buses were headed in all directions. Chaos ensued and cars were caught in a virtual standstill. The technical glitch occured from between 12 to 1230pm and was finally fixed at 1.15pm. Vehicles caught in the grid lock did not give way to one another and tailgated each other. Even when there were heavy vehicles like buses, cars did not give way.
