TWO MEN CAUGHT IN JAKARTA TRYING TO SMUGGLE THEIR WAY INTO SG

Saw some reports in the Indonesian media about two Indonesian men who were caught trying to smuggle themselves in a tyre of a plane that was heading to Singapore. The two men were arrested at the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport before they can carry out their plans.

No reasons were given as to why they were planning to hide themselves in the airplane tyre compartment to get to Singapore. I think the Singapore authorities should be on heightened alert at all checkpoints into Singapore. Just a few days ago, two men were caught trying to swim into Singapore. And now two more men caught before they can smuggle themselves into Singapore.

This is not an angry passenger ranting about her experience, this is an aviation and aerospace specialist that is concerned about the airport safety. Please have this matter investigated because my parents and I, and my fellow Singaporeans need an explanation. We deserve an explanation.
