Flight TZ 297 was suppose to depart at 30th June 2255 local time in Bangkok but was told that a 30min delay will be impose due to a fault in the aircraft. After every 30 min, they said another 30 min until 5am they said the flight will be cancel and all of the passengers will be moved to the airport hotel.

Scoot chief executive officer Campbell Wilson has issued an apology over a technical fault, which caused flight TZ8 bound for Perth to be delayed for more than 21 hours. According to the statement, the delays were due to scheduling problems resulting in technical crews being unable to perform repairs in time.

Scoot flight TZ8 to Perth was originally scheduled to leave Singapore's Changi Airport on 20th June at 12.10PM, but was delayed over 6 times due to an unexplained "technical issue". Passengers, who boarded the plane but were asked to disembark twice due to plane problems were up in arms after the numerous delays.

The International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) has issued a "red flag" against Thailand's civil aviation industry, warning of significant safety concerns that were not resolved within a 90-day deadline. The warnings stem from an audit conducted by the United Nations Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) on Thailand's air transport safety certification in February.

Hours after it said it would launch an inquiry into how a lizard got into an airline passenger's meal, Air India issued a statement to the media dismissing the accusations as "false and baseless". "We are denying any such incident. One because we do not know the authenticity of the photograph and two... no passenger has lodged any such complaint," an airline spokesperson told the media.
