AIRASIA SELL TRAVEL INSURANCE BUT REFUSE TO LET ME CLAIM AFTER DELAYS?

I booked air tickets for my parents to attend my wedding ceremony in Chongqing on 19 Dec 2015. They were scheduled to take AirAsia flight AK712 from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur and flight AK192 from Kuala Lumpur to Chongqing on 16 Dec 2015. Due to 2 hours delay in flight AK712 departure, they missed their flight AK192 in Kuala Lumpur. When I tried to claim travel insurance online, I could not continue after a pop-up message "Please note that currently we ONLY allow claims departing from Malaysia" was displayed. What is the point of selling travelling insurance for Singapore customers when customers will not be allowed to make any claims?

A Facebook user shared 2 videos today about a woman creating a huge scene at Kuala Lumpur International Airport. The videos showed the woman becoming hysterical after she was told she could not board as she was late for the flight, pushing past airport security and struggling to open the plane door of AirAsia flight AK380 bound for Jakarta.

BRITISH ENGINEER KILLED HIMSELF BECAUSE HE FELT GUILTY OVER AIRASIA CRASH

A 37 year-old British aircraft engineer became so plagued with guilt over a recent AirAsia crash, which took place on 28th December and killed 162 people, he decided to commit suicide to make up for it. According to his wife, Louise, Gavin became "obsessed" with the idea that he was to blame for the crash. His job was to work with the AirAsia Airbus A320 plane model, the same model as the ill-fated plane that crashed.

S’PORE NAVY SHIP MV SWIFT RESCUE FINDS MAIN BODY OF AIR ASIA QZ8501

On Wednesday evening (14 January 2015), Singapore Defence Minister Ng Eng Hen announced the location of Air Asia flight QZ8501's fuselage and wings. He also revealed that the discovery was made by Singapore naval vessel, MV Swift Rescue. It utitlized its Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) to conduct its underwater search operations and made the discovery.

AIRASIA QZ8501 BLACK BOX FOUND & RETRIEVED BY RESCUE DIVERS

At 10.44 am (12 January 2015), Indonesian elite divers went to depths of 30 metres to retrieve black boxes belonging to ill-fated flight Air Asia QZ8501. After shifting through mud and pieces of plane wreckage, the divers finally managed to locate and recover one of the two blackboxes, the flight data recorder. Later in the morning, Indonesian rescue chief confirmed that only the flight data recorder has been retrieved and that the cockpit voice recorder is still missing.

MISSING AIRASIA QZ8501: PILOT DESCRIBES SEEING BODIES HOLDING HANDS IN WATER

Lieutenant Airman Tri Wobowo who discovered the debris from the missing AirAsia Flight QZ8501 told a newspaper on Tuesday that three of the bodies recovered were holding hands. Tri Wobowo who also co-piloted the C130 Hercules aircraft that first saw the items of the aircraft off the coast of Borneo earlier, described the scene that greeted rescuers in the water, reported The Independent.
