I am a volunteer along with a few friends, rendering assistance to ex-house cats in Dakota Crescent whom have been abandoned/left behind when their ex-owners moved out. A reader sent this heartbreaking post to us about an abandoned golden retriever named Anchor who was left to die at BLK 334B, 13th Floor, Sengkang Anchorvale Crescent on the 9th of July. Facebook user Sg Dogslover is looking for any evidence to trace the Anchor's owner as this is a suspected animal abuse case. Anchor died on 24th June after struggling with illness and neglect. Sg Dogslover has also penned a goodbye note from Anchor, the abandoned dog, to his heartless owner:

This poor dog was being dumped in a plastic bag. A kind lady spotted him in the plastic bag and removed him from the bag, he is a old and blind male Japanese chin, covering with dirt and fills with smells, he is very weak and couldn't walk. He has no microchip on him, he is currently in the clinic for a full body check up and tests.
