LTA COMPLETES REVIEW OF ERP RATES FOR DEC 2016 SCH HOLIDAYS

The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has completed its review of Electronic Road Pricing (ERP) rates for the December 2016 school holidays. In line with the ERP rate adjustment of $1 per Passenger Car Unit (PCU), ERP rates at the following roads and expressways during the specified time periods will be reduced by $1.00 per PCU (except where the current ERP rate is $0.50 per PCU[1]).

In her Facebook post, WP's Frieda Chan says that PAP candidate Murali's arguments on whether MPs should serve full-time is 'weak' and that by saying that it is not necessary for MPs to serve full-time, he is giving a 'slap' to all PAP MPs who have chosen to give up their careers to serve as full-time MPs. She also criticised his argument as being focused on himself rather than on the residents and voters of Bukit Batok. What do you think? US BANK REPORT: S’PORE PROPERTY PRICES TO FALL BY 20% FROM NOW TILL 2016

Home prices in Singapore will decline at a steeper pace, falling by 20 per cent between this year and 2016, as economic restructuring as well as property and loan curbs continue to weigh on the housing market, Bank of America Merrill Lynch (BAML) said in its research report released Tuesday (Sep 9). “Overly tight population policies will imply the dominance of ageing-resident demographics over the influx of younger non-resident workforce. Delays in relaxing property measures would imply a greater negative impact from rising mortgage rates,” said BAML economist Chua Hak Bin.
