A man admitted to raping his cousin 14 years ago, when she was eight, and he, in his teens. The accused, who is now 31, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one of three charges of raping his young cousin at a staircase landing of a Housing Board flat in the north sometime in mid-1999. His cousin is now 22 years old. The victim only made a police report in August, 2011. The accused will be sentenced on Jan 29. He faces up to 20 years' jail, fine or caning.

Police arrest two men for fighting in a moving MRT train on Jan 11; Both suspects were apprehended yesterday following investigations. The two men who fought each other on an MRT train, in an incident that was filmed and went viral, have been arrested, the police said today (Jan 21). On Jan 11, the police were alerted of a fight between two men in the 40s on board a moving MRT train, somewhere between Khatib and Yio Chu Kang MRT stations.

The former childcare teacher who allegedly broke the leg of a two-year-old boy was charged in a district court on Tuesday with ill-treating him.
