Only certified workers can carry out demolition works in HDB flats

Starting this month, only certified renovation workers are allowed to carry out demolition works in HDB flats. To be certified, contractors will have to send their workers for a safety course organised by the Housing and Development Board (HDB) and the Building and Construction Authority (BCA).

Train services resume between Kranji and Yew Tee MRT stations after power fault

Train operator SMRT said a cable fault led to a loss in traction power between Kranji and Yew Tee MRT stations on Saturday afternoon.As a result, service between Kranji and Yew Tee MRT stations on the North-South Line was disrupted for about an hour and a half. SMRT said it detected a loss in traction power between Kranji and Yew Tee MRT stations at 12.30pm.

SINGTEL SOLD MY DAD A USED AND "LOCKED" IPHONE AS NEW

We called SingTel in hope that they would mail us our proof of purchase receipt. Their reply was 'As this is a new problem and case, thus you will have to check with the Apple service counter to solve the problem". They also said that if we wanted the proof of purchase, they will have it mail to us and it takes around three to five days. We asked for them to email the receipt to us as my dad needs the phone for work.
