GE2020: Opposition Candidates’ Pictures Missing in ST Nomination Day Live Coverage

The 158th media has made no effort to hide their bias against the opposition by leaving out faces of opposition candidates in their Nomination Day Live Coverage. 158 did not bother to find photos of opposition candidates and just showed them as blanks while all the PAP candidates' faces were shown. What is their excuse for not being able to get a photo of the prominent Paul Tambyah who is going to be president of the International Society of Infectious Diseases?

GE2020: Ho Ching Sides With PAP New Candidate Ivan Lim

Empress Dowager Ho Ching has taken a side on the Ivan Lim issue. Yesterday, she shared a post on her Facebook comparing PAP new candidate Ivan Lim with Kee Chiu and Kate Spade who used to be mocked by people, implying that Ivan Lim can soon prove the people wrong. By sharing this post, Madam Ho has shown that she cannot differentiate between mocking and testimonies of serious character issues from people who have crossed path with Ivan Lim.

GE2020: Is It Fair for the PAP to Introduce Candidates on National TV?

Parliament has been dissolved. The PAP has no right to use state media to showcase their candidates before the campaigning period. Yesterday, each new candidate presented by Heng Swee Keat and Masagos Zulkifli in a press conference was given airtime on Mediacorp's Channel 5 and Channel 8 news i.e. national TV when giving their individual speeches about why they joined PAP. On the other hand, opposition members were briefly flashed on screen.

A Singaporean has exposed PAP new candidate Ivan Lim Shaw Chuan, the GM of Keppel Offshore & Marine as an elitist who was never well liked by his battalion when he was CO because of his condescending attitude. He apparently had a habit of boasting about his personal achievements and drove around camp in expensive cars. Just like many PAP members sitting in their ivory towers, it is unfathomable how such politicians can empathise with ordinary citizens and be their voice in parliament.

GE2020: Red Dot United Unveils Candidates For Jurong GRC

Red Dot United, Singapore's newest political party, has revealed some candidates contesting in the five-member Jurong GRC. Red Dot United shared that three of its five candidates will include Secretary-General Ravi Philemon, Chairperson Michelle Lee, and 33-year-old Ms Liyana Dhamirah. Red Dot United is keen to contest in Jurong GRC because many of its party members grew up there, giving them an affection for this constituency.
