GOVT SHOULD NOT FORCE OVERSEAS S’POREANS TO PAY MEDISHIELD LIFE PREMIUMS

As for those who have lived abroad for a long time, would they face imprisonment for not paying their MediShield Life premiums if they return? It seems unfair to expect them to pay premiums if they do not intend to use their MediShield entitlements. Would this encourage them to give up their citizenship to avoid being punished? I suggest that they be excused from paying compulsory premiums. If they choose to return, they will have to buy their own health insurance policies, or pay their hospital fees in full without MediShield coverage.

ROY NGERNG: PAP POLITICIANS ENRICH THEMSELVES WHILE S’POREANS STUCK IN DEBT

It is time Singaporeans think carefully about what the PAP is really doing with our country and to see through their actions, if we are willing to look beyond and see the truth. Once we have done that, we have to decide for ourselves if PAP is still what we want in Singapore's government. Singaporeans have to consider for themselves if the PAP's hypocrisy and hidden agenda is still what is needed for Singapore, and for our families, children and our country's future.

JEREMY CHEN, YOU SHOULDN’T WASH THE OPPOSITION’S DIRTY LINEN IN PUBLIC

You should not have come out in the public with all these criticisms of your former party. You had spent three years with SDP and based on what you wrote, I guess you did put in significant efforts for the party. Whether those were productive or unproductive efforts, I trust you had put in your best and meant well for SDP. But now, with your public criticisms against the party and its leaders, you “undid” whatever good efforts you had contributed to the party. You are not only damaging the party, you are also hurting yourself badly!

The walkabout was scheduled yesterday, 25th Jan from 8 am to 12 pm and the selected places were Sembawang GRC and Holland-Bukit Timah GRC. It is good that SDP is focussing on walkabouts but I honestly have to say that their method isn't good.
