GOH MENG SENG: OPPOSITION LOST BIG IN GE2015 BECAUSE WE WERE TOO STRONG

Opposition as a whole has put up a TOO STRONG showing which Ironically backfired. It was too strong overall to make people frighten of the unthinkable, PAP LOSING POWER. Contrary to those nay sayers, opposition wasn't weak at all and it was Precisely due to this perceived strength, voters begin to worry about PAP losing power. Period.

OPEN LETTER TO PM LEE: STOP OVER-RELIANCE ON FOREIGNERS IN CRITICAL INDUSTRIES

I’d like to congratulate you on your landslide victory in this year’s election three weeks ago. Many have analyzed how PAP garnered such a resounding victory. The liberal FT policy has also caused many Singaporeans to lose their jobs, from technical to managerial. It has also caused Singaporeans to be discriminated against for jobs. Over relying on foreigners for certain critical sectors like healthcare and hospital work also puts us in a precarious situation.

POTONG PASIR SMC TO BE ABSORBED UNDER JALAN BESAR GRC IN GE2020?

Here is my opinion on PAP choosing to manage Potong Pasir SMC under Jalan Besar town council. Likewise, by redrawing Potong Pasir into Jalan Besar GRC which was contested by WP, PAP is setting up a tussle for the GRC between WP and SPP. WP and SPP have always coexisted peacefully without public disagreements. But if Potong Pasir is absorbed, SPP would want to contest the GRC even though they have not done walkabouts in the rest of Jalan Besar GRC before.

OPPOSITION PARTIES SHOULD SPEAK UP FOR THE CONCERNS OF NEW CITIZENS

In my view, some opposition parties inflicted a lot of damage on themselves when they went on vocally against immigration. At the forum, I made one suggestion which I have never heard anyone else make before. I said opposition parties should begin to speak up for the concerns of new citizens; if possible find one or two as candidates.

S'POREAN MUSLIMS NEGOTIATION POWER HAS WEAKENED AFTER 69.9% VICTORY FOR PAP GOVT?

Shortly after the last general elections, I discussed voting decisions with some Muslims who voted for the PAP. Interestingly, these Muslims justified their vote for the party as though it would benefit Muslims. Basically, they argue that it is better to support the devil you know. And since this devil may perform better in other areas (such as economic development), then we should support them.

WP DENNIS TAN CONTINUES TO WORK HARD FOR FENGSHAN RESIDENTS DESPITE GE2015 LOSS

Dennis Tan of The Workers’ Party is continuing to work hard for residents even though he was not elected as an MP. This is unlike PAP MPs who were quick to leave their post once they were voted out and seek shelter under the coat tails of big-name Ministers. Will voters give Dennis a chance in GE2020?

STRANGE REASONS WHY S'POREANS VOTED FOR PAP'S CHARLES CHONG IN PUNGGOL EAST SMC

Here are some strange reasons why Singaporeans may have voted for the PAP challenger Charles Chong in Punggol East during GE2015. A majority of sinkies do not seem concerned about national issues during elections. So why should they be complaining about national issues after elections? Are you appalled at their reasons for voting PAP's Charles Chong?
