Some students of an online ebooks "guru" have found themselves at the losing end of the bargain after they realized that they had been duped into paying over $4000 to attend workshops promising to help them make a passive 5 figure income through creating ebooks online.
Students who attended the man's ebook course claim that they had attended a free 3 hour preview seminar, where they were coaxed into paying more than $2000 to attend his 2 days workshops. During his workshop, he would again persuade the students to pay another $2000 to be part of his "inner circle" for more coaching.
In spite of paying $4000, many of these students soon found out that what the man taught was different from what he claimed he would teach, and realized his teachings were impractical or ineffective.
When they asked for a refund and complained that his techniques were useless, he dismissed his responsibility by criticizing them for creating lousy ebooks.
His students have now rallied together lodged over 30 complains to CASE. They also claim that after collecting their course fees, he became cold and inaccessible to them.
