SCHOOL RESPONDS: STUDENTS IN ST HILDA'S FIGHT VIDEO DISCIPLINED

St Hilda's Secondary School has responded to a viral video showing a fight between 3 boys at the school.

The fight, which took place on 11 September, showed a 2 on 1 fight between the boys. When one of 2 boys placed their opponent in a chokehold, all held broke loose.

A man was also spotted standing by the fight and not intervening, which led netizens to criticize him for not breaking up the fight.

In a statement given by the school, Vice Principal Miss Tan Yee Leng said that the students involved have been counselled and disciplined.

She added that the man who stood by and watched the fight was not a teacher and had no authority or training to manage the situation.
