NETIZEN CLAIMS HE SAW MIG-29 FLYING NEAR ASIA SQUARE @ MARINA VIEW

A netizen wrote this on a popular local forum:

"Thought I saw a fulcrum while I was sitting in Asia square. Guy was going full afterburner at about 300 ft AGL. Anyone see the same thing. Just to clarify it wasn't a f-15."

The Mig-29 is a model of aircraft used by neighboring countries such as Malaysia and India.

Other netizens who saw the sight confirmed that the netizen had indeed saw a similar aircraft.

One netizen wrote: "For a second there, I thought our neighbours had invaded us. Are the Malaysia MiGs still in service or have they been withdrawn from service already?"

The Mig-29s are still in active service in the Royal Malaysian Air Force.
