56 year old Malaysian Yam Kok Kong was pronounced dead after collapsing at Johor Bahru's immigration clearance last Thursday. He was riding a bike from Singapore and doing his routine thumbprint scan at the Bangunan Sultan Abu Bakar Customs Immigration and Quarantine Complex when he suddenly collapsed.

Nothing could be done although many passers by went to his aid. He was pronounced dead at the scene and reportedly suffered from a heart attack.

Yam was a project engineer in Tuas. He had been travelling safely to and from Malaysia and Singapore for the past 38 years. #LifeIsShort #RIP
