JUDGE FINDS ALL SIX CHC LEADERS GUILTY OF MISAPPROPRIATING S$24 MILLION

On Wednesday morning (21 October 2015), Judge See Kee Oon delivered the verdict of the long drawn City Harvest trial. All 6 CHC leaders were found guilty of all charges of misappropriating $24 million in church funds.

The six CHC leaders are senior pastor Kong Hee, deputy senior pastor Tan Ye Peng, former fund manager Chew Eng Han, CHC finance manages Serina Wee and Sharon Tan and finance committee member John Lam.

As of 6am this morning, about 130 CHC members were queuing up outside the State Courts to show support for their church leaders. The CHC trial began in 2013 and has been fought in court for 140 days making it one of the longest criminal battle in Singapore history.
