A Singtel customer found himself at the end of a bad bargain when Singtel billed him for exceeding his data plan charges by 0.0055GB despite him shutting off his mobile data consumption.
According to the customer he had used his mobile data up till 2.95GB last month and shut off his mobile phone supply, relying only on WiFi to use the internet over the last part of the month. However, he was shocked to still be billed for exceeding his data supply.
He has since demanded Singtel explain why there is an extra charge on their Facebook.
But to add insult to injury, Singtel has chosen not to reply to his demands for an explanation, and instead gave him a laundry list on how to save data.
