When we spend money on an occasion, we usually like to immortalize our memories with photographs. One netter spent close to $2000 on a night at the Ocean Suites at Sentosa at the request of their daughter. Because they wanted their daughter to remember this in future, the family also decided to hire professional photographers to help with taking their photos.
We know we won’t be able to take nice photo in the room. Thus, we engaged the photographer from this company called Afford-A-Graph. They have junior photographer, senior photographer and director photographer with different pricing. We choose the director photographer named Danish which cost us SGD360 for 1.5 hours.
However, on the day of the shooting, the photographer was late by 30 mins and he only stayed for 1 hour and 10 minutes. Also, despite the company promising the family that they will be providing them with studio lights, Danish did not come with the right equipment.
What’s worse, is that the photographs were not up to standard. The netter came to realize that the photographs taken using their phones were of better quality than those taken by Danish. Additionally, when the family asked if the photography company could assist with touching up the photographs, their calls were ignored and their social media accounts were blocked as well.
Hopefully the family will get some sort of compensation! Unethical businesses like these should not be allowed to survive!
