Boy Injured After Being Shoved Down By Jogger Along Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk Park

Looking for eyewitness.

On 21st July 2020 around 6.30 to 6.45pm, a 13 year old boy got injured after being pushed by a jogger. The boy was riding his bike along Punggol Promenade Riverside Walk Park (shared path for joggers and cyclists) near the toilet towards Sengkang Road. When the boy reached the bridge, he slowed down to overtake in the middle. This was when a jogger allegedly pushed the boy in the face.

The boy suffered injuries to his hand and leg, and his groin area was hurt too. A few kind passersby helped the boy up but the jogger escaped towards the Punggol “Red Bridge” (towards Lorong Halus). The jogger was described to be a “Chinese guy around 30s-40s plus in black short & black tshirt.”

A police report has been made by the boy’s mother.
