Raised Kerb At Rivervale Crescent Linkway A Tripping Hazard

This poor boy was walking beside his mummy along a linkway at 178B Rivervale Crescent. He then kicked onto this raised concrete kerb and fell down.

This linkway is newly renovated by Pasir Ris Punggol Town Council. Before renovation, there was no raised kerb. But after renovation, this kerb was installed and became a tripping hazard. This kerb can be dangerous to both the young and elderly.

This project was allegedly managed by EM Services Pte Ltd.

Did the project team put effort in managing this project? Why was this designed approved during its review phase?
