Covid19: Singapore PR Stranded Here After Malaysia Custom Denied Him Entry

A Facebook user who claimed to be Malaysian with Singapore Permanent Resident (PR) shared how he was “stranded” in Singapore since 17 March 2020. After about a month, he decided to return home to Johor Bahru (JB). In order to return to JB, he got a “fit to travel” certificate endorsed by a Singapore polyclinic.

However upon reaching the JB Custom, Second link (should be Tuas Checkpoint), the Malaysian side denied him entry. The alleged reason given was because he is a Singapore PR.

Here the Singapore PR complained, “I am Malaysian & I am not allowed to enter to my own country…. What a joke man…..”.
