A serial molester has gone back to prison, just five months after he was released from jail for a molest case. Aw Soon Heng, a Singaporean, this time struck again at the opening day of Jewel Changi Airport. The 33 year old serial molester had been working as a kitchen cleaner at a restaurant in Jewel.
Aw had been jailed four times before this, all for molest cases back in 2005, 2013, 2014 and 2018. This latest molest case will see Aw spend another 18 months and 33 days behind bars. The incident happened on April 17, when he saw the victim at about 11am from the fourth storey. Aw took the escalator down to the third storey, where the female victim was. Aw then pretended to use his phone and raised his left elbow, brushing it against the woman’s chest. The woman confronted him, but Aw apologised saying it was an accident, but the woman called for help.
The Jewel security officer activated the airport police, and Aw was subsequently arrested. To date, Aw has spent a total of 45 months’ jail and 10 strokes of the cane, for his offences, but it seems that this will not stop him from re-offending.
