Our reader sympathised with an old man whom he came across on the roads this morning and lamented the high standards of living in Singapore.

“Life of a 70+ yrs old in Spore, jeopardizing his own safety & other road users just to earn a measly living.

Collecting cardboards. At the junction of Paya Lebar& McPherson rd, this morning peak hours traffic.”

Nope, he wasn’t exercising.
