A web video series, "Great Big Story", has featured Singapore's famed Haw Par Villa in its series on the "Human Condition", which features some of the most unique and compelling stories about people throughout the world.
In this video, Great Big Story interviewed 83 year-old Teo Veoh Seng, who has been working on repairing the sculptures of Haw Par Villa since he was 13 years old.

"Haw Par Villa is a special kind of theme park located in Singapore. There, you won’t find any rides, but instead a unique collection of over 1,000 surreal sculptures, depicting scenes from Chinese mythology and history. For the past 70 years, Teo Veoh Seng has been one of the master craftsmen behind this bizarre paradise. Using restoration techniques passed down from his father and uncles, Veoh Seng is lovingly maintaining a piece of Singapore’s cultural history for future generations."
