PIPE LEAK AT TANJONG KATONG ROAD, THIRD INCIDENT OF WATER WASTAGE IN SG

Dear A.S.S. Editor

Seems like leaking pipes are a new trend in Singapore. It was reported that a pipe leak occurred at the junction of Tanjong Katong Road and Boscombe Road on Thursday night.

PUB confirmed the leak, and also said that the right lane of Tanjong Katong Road towards Mountbatten Road is closed to facilitate the repair works. The leak was first detected by PUB’s sensors at 5:50 pm.

Eye witnesses said that even though the water was flowing out slowly, the gravel on the road had began to pop. This come after a series of two burst water pipes in Bukit Batok, which sent water gushing out like a fountain.
