A news website which reported that famous local singer, Stefanie Sun Yan Zi, had died as a result of a fatal show business related incident has been debunked… by none other than the singer herself!
In a Twitter message to fans coupled with a photograph of herself, Sun posted: “Oi whats going on. i’m alive.”
Fans were relieved to find their favorite song bird still alive, but wondered what kind of mean spirited prank was behind the spread of the fake news.
